Walking
From the central square (Piazza della Cisterna) in San Gimignano, head northeast on Via San Giovanni towards the intersection with Via delle Fonti. Turn left onto Via delle Fonti, which will lead you to the bus station (Stazione dei Bus). From there, take the bus to Florence. The trip will take approximately 1 hour. Upon arriving in Florence, get off the bus at the main bus station (Firenze S.M.N.). From the bus station, walk towards Piazza della Libertà and follow signs for the city center until you reach Via dei Servi. Continue walking straight until you reach the entrance of the Boboli Gardens.

Start at the San Gimignano bus station (Stazione dei Bus). Take the bus to Florence (Firenze S.M.N.). After about 1 hour on the bus, you will arrive at the main bus station in Florence. From there, exit the station and walk towards Piazza della Libertà. From Piazza della Libertà, continue walking straight until you reach Via dei Servi. Follow the signs toward the Pitti Palace, and the entrance to the Boboli Gardens will be right next to it.
