If you are in the main square of San Gimignano, Piazza della Cisterna, start by heading south towards Via San Giovanni. Continue along this street until you reach the intersection with Via della Madonna. Turn left onto Via della Madonna and follow it until you reach the end of the street. At this point, you will see the main road, Strada Provinciale 1. Cross the road carefully and continue straight on Via Riposo. After about 500 meters, you will find a sign for Lari. Follow the signs, and after a short walk, you will arrive at Castello dei Vicari located at Via del Castello, 1.

From San Gimignano, make your way to the bus stop located near Piazza della Cisterna. Take the bus towards Poggibonsi or Certaldo. After approximately 30 minutes, get off at the Lari stop. From the bus stop, walk towards Via del Castello, which is about a 10-minute walk. Follow the road uphill until you reach the Castello dei Vicari.
