Walking
From the main square of San Gimignano (Piazza della Cisterna), head north on Via San Giovanni. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Via Vecchia. Turn left onto Via Vecchia, which will lead you out of the town. After approximately 1.5 km, you'll reach the road intersection. Here, follow the sign for Barberino Tavarnelle. Keep walking along the road for about 3 km until you see the sign for Castello della Paneretta on your right. Follow the path indicated until you arrive at the castle.

From San Gimignano, walk to the nearest bus stop, located at the edge of the old town near the Porta San Giovanni. Take the bus to Barberino Tavarnelle; buses are typically scheduled to leave every hour or so. Upon arrival in Barberino Tavarnelle, get off at the bus stop closest to Strada della Paneretta. From the bus stop, it is approximately a 15-minute walk to Castello della Paneretta. Head south on Strada della Paneretta, and you will find the castle at address 33-35.
