    From the center of San Gimignano, start at the main square, Piazza della Cisterna. Head southwest along Via San Giovanni until you reach the intersection with Via Vecchia. Turn left onto Via Vecchia and continue walking until you reach the end of the street. At the T-junction, turn right onto Via San Matteo. Follow this road as it leads you out of the town. You will pass the Porta San Matteo, which is the old city gate. Continue straight for about 2 kilometers until you reach the fork in the road. At the fork, take the left path, which is Strada Montecchio. Follow this road for about 1 kilometer, and you will see Fattoria Montecchio on your left at Str. Montecchio, 4.

Once you pass through the gate, continue straight on the main road, which will eventually lead you onto Strada Montecchio. Keep pedaling for about 2.5 kilometers.
