Walking
From the main square in San Gimignano, Piazza della Cisterna, head towards Via San Giovanni. Follow this road as it turns into Via Vecchia. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Via della Repubblica. Turn left here and go straight until you see the signs for buses. At the bus stop, take the bus towards Gaiole in Chianti. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Gaiole in Chianti bus station, exit the bus and look for local signs directing you to Castello di Meleto. It is about a 20-minute walk from the bus station. Head north on Via Roma, then take a right on Strada Provinciale 408. Follow this road, and you will see the signs for Meleto Castle, which will be on your left.
