From the main square of San Gimignano, Piazza della Cisterna, head southwest towards Via San Giovanni. Continue on this road until you reach the end, then turn left onto Via San Matteo. Follow this road until you reach the main entrance of the town. Once you exit the walls, you can catch a bus to Florence. Board the bus heading towards Florence, and enjoy the scenic ride. Once you arrive at the bus station in Florence, walk towards the historic center, following signs to the Duomo. From there, take Via dei Calzaiuoli, which leads directly to Piazza della Signoria. Continue to walk towards the Uffizi Gallery, and then you will find Museo Galileo located in Piazza dei Giudici, just a short walk past the Uffizi.
