Walking
From the central Piazza della Cisterna in San Gimignano, head southeast on Via San Giovanni. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Via Vecchia. Take a left onto Via Vecchia and continue walking. This road will merge into Via San Matteo. Keep walking straight until you arrive at the bus terminal at the edge of town. From there, take a bus to Florence (Firenze). Once you arrive in Florence, head towards Piazza della Signoria. You will see Palazzo Vecchio located directly in the square.
