Start from the main square of San Gimignano, Piazza della Cisterna. Head southeast towards Via San Giovanni. Continue on Via San Giovanni until you reach the intersection with Via Vecchia. Turn left onto Via Vecchia and walk straight until you reach the outskirts of the town. At the end of Via Vecchia, take a right onto Strada della Madonna. Follow this road for about 1.5 kilometers. Look for signs directing you to Parco Fluviale Alta Val D'Elsa. Once you see the entrance sign for SentierElsa - Ponte di San Marziale, follow the path leading into the park.
