Walking
From the central Piazza della Cisterna in San Gimignano, head south towards Via San Giovanni. Continue straight for about 300 meters until you reach the junction with Via delle Fonti. Turn right onto Via delle Fonti and walk for approximately 200 meters. You will arrive at the bus stop 'San Gimignano - P.zza della Libertà'. Take the bus to Florence, which is approximately a 1-hour journey. When you arrive in Florence, head towards the city center and follow signs to 'Piazza Piave'.
Walking to Bus Station
Start at the main square, Piazza della Cisterna. Walk towards Via San Giovanni and follow it until you reach the intersection with Via delle Fonti. Turn right and continue straight to the bus station located at Piazza della Libertà. Once at the bus station, check the schedule for buses heading to Florence and board the correct bus.
Public Transport
After arriving at the bus station at Piazza della Libertà in San Gimignano, purchase a ticket at the kiosk or from the bus driver. Board the bus heading to Florence. The bus will take you directly to the city center. Once you arrive at the main bus station in Florence, exit the bus and follow the signs to Piazza Piave, which is a short 10-minute walk from the station.
