    If you're starting from the Piazza della Cisterna, head southeast toward Via San Giovanni. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Via delle Romite. Turn left onto Via delle Romite and walk until you reach the next intersection. Here, turn right onto Via San Matteo and continue straight. You'll notice several shops and cafes on your way. After about 5 minutes, you will reach the intersection of Via di Rocca. Turn left here, and after a short walk, the Tower of Federico II will be on your left.

    From the San Gimignano Collegiate Church (Collegiata di San Gimignano), exit the church and walk west on Via della Madonna. Continue straight until you reach Piazza della Cisterna. From there, follow the previous route by heading southeast toward Via San Giovanni, then left onto Via delle Romite, right onto Via San Matteo, and finally left onto Via di Rocca to reach the Tower of Federico II.
