From the central Piazza della Cisterna in San Gimignano, head north on Via San Giovanni. Continue straight for about 400 meters until you reach the intersection with Via Vecchia. Turn left onto Via Vecchia and walk for another 150 meters. At the next intersection, turn right onto Via San Matteo, and continue straight for about 200 meters. You will then see the signs directing you to the bus station. Follow the signs to catch a bus to Florence. The journey takes about 1 hour.
