Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are in the historic center of Florence, start at the Florence Cathedral (Duomo) located at Piazza del Duomo. From there, head south on Via dei Calzaiuoli, a pedestrian street that leads you directly to Piazza della Signoria. Once you reach Piazza della Signoria, admire the statues and the Palazzo Vecchio. From here, continue south on Via dei Gondi, which will lead you to Via dei Strozzi. Turn left onto Via dei Strozzi, and you will arrive at Piazza degli Strozzi, where the Strozzi Palace is located. The palace will be on your right.

  • Public Transport

    If you are further away from the center, take a bus to the nearest stop. For example, you can take bus line C2 or C3 to the stop 'Piazza San Lorenzo'. From there, walk towards Mercato Centrale (Central Market) and head south on Via dell'Ariento until you reach Piazza della Repubblica. Continue walking straight to Via degli Strozzi, which will take you to Piazza degli Strozzi. The Strozzi Palace will be on your right.

    If you prefer not to walk long distances, you can take a taxi to Piazza degli Strozzi. Just tell the driver 'Piazza degli Strozzi' and they will drop you off right in front of the Strozzi Palace.
