Getting There

Car
From the center of Sestriere, head southeast on Via Louset. Continue straight until you reach the junction with Via Cesana. Turn left onto Via Cesana, following the signs for 'Monte Sises'. Continue on this road until it merges into Strada Statale 23. After approximately 3 km, look for a parking area near the base of the mountain. Note that parking may incur a fee, typically around €5 for the day.

Public Transportation
Start at the main bus station in Sestriere. Take the local bus service that goes to 'Monti della Luna' or 'Monte Sises'. Buses run regularly during the day, and you can buy tickets at the bus station or on the bus. The fare is approximately €2.5. The bus will drop you off at the designated stop near the base of Monte Sises, from where you can start your hike up the mountain.

Hiking
Once you arrive at the parking area or bus stop, begin your hike towards Monte Sises. There are clearly marked trails leading up to the summit. The hike is roughly 2.5 km with an elevation gain of about 600 meters, so be prepared for a moderate climb. Ensure you wear comfortable hiking shoes and bring water and snacks for the journey.
