Bus
From Siena, head to the main bus station, known as 'Piazza Gramsci'. Look for the bus lines heading towards Greve in Chianti. You can take the bus line that goes to 'Greve in Chianti'. The journey will take approximately 45 minutes. Once you arrive at the Greve in Chianti bus station, exit the bus and walk towards the main street. Follow the signs towards 'Castello di Verrazzano'. It is about a 20-minute walk uphill from the bus station.
Walking
If you prefer a scenic route, you can start from the Piazza del Campo in Siena. Walk north on Via di Citta until you reach Via Garibaldi. Turn left onto Via Garibaldi and continue until you reach the intersection with Via della Sapienza. Turn right onto Via della Sapienza and continue walking straight until you reach the bus station to catch a bus to Greve in Chianti. After arriving at Greve, follow the same walking directions as mentioned previously.
Taxi
For a more direct option, you can hail a taxi from any point in Siena. Simply inform the driver that you would like to go to 'Castello di Verrazzano' in Greve in Chianti. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes, depending on traffic. Taxis are available at various locations around Siena, including the train station and major squares.
