Car
If you're driving from the center of Chianti, take the SR222 road towards Florence. Continue on this road for about 20 km. As you approach Florence, follow signs for 'Centro' to merge onto Viale Giovanni Amendola. Once you reach the roundabout, take the first exit onto Viale Michelangelo. Follow this road, and then turn left onto Via di S. Leonardo. The Forte di Belvedere will be on your right at Via di S. Leonardo, 1. There is limited parking available near the fortress.

Public Transportation
To get to Forte di Belvedere using public transportation, take a bus from Chianti to Florence. Look for bus line 35, which will take you to the central bus station in Florence (Piazza della Stazione). From there, you can walk to the fortress. Head southeast on Via Nazionale toward Piazza della Repubblica, then continue onto Via della Vigna Nuova. At the end of this street, turn left onto Via de' Tornabuoni. Continue straight until you reach Viale Michelangelo, and then follow the road signs to Via di S. Leonardo. The fortress will be located at Via di S. Leonardo, 1.
