Walking
Start from Piazza del Campo, the main square in Siena. Exit the square towards Via di Città. Walk straight along Via di Città until you reach the intersection with Via Banchi di Sopra. Turn left onto Banchi di Sopra, and continue walking until you reach the intersection with Via della Sapienza. Turn right onto Via della Sapienza. Keep walking straight until you reach the end of this street, where it turns into Via Simone Martini. Continue along Via Simone Martini, and you will soon see Porta Ovile on your left.
Walking
If you are near the Siena Cathedral, exit the cathedral area and head towards Piazza del Duomo. From there, take Via del Capitano which will lead you to Via Banchi di Sopra. Turn right onto Banchi di Sopra, then follow the previous instructions from there to reach Porta Ovile.
Public Transport
Although Porta Ovile is not directly served by public transportation, you can take a bus from the Siena train station (Stazione FS) to the city center. Take Bus 3 or 10 towards the city center and get off at the stop 'Piazza Gramsci'. From Piazza Gramsci, walk towards Via di Città and follow the walking guidance provided earlier to reach Porta Ovile.
