Walking
If you are starting from the famous Piazza del Campo, head north along Via di Città. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Via Banchi di Sopra. Turn left onto Via Banchi di Sopra and walk until you reach the end of the street. At the end, you will find a small square, Piazza San Francesco. From here, take Via San Francesco and continue walking straight. After a few minutes, you will reach the intersection with Viale Vittorio Emanuele II. Continue straight, and Piazza Indipendenza will be on your left.
Walking
If you are near the Siena Cathedral (Duomo di Siena), exit the cathedral area and head down Via di Vallepiatta. Follow this road until you reach the intersection with Viale Vittorio Emanuele II. Turn right onto Viale Vittorio Emanuele II and walk straight for about 10 minutes. You will see the entrance to Piazza Indipendenza on your left.
Walking
From the train station (Stazione di Siena), exit the station and head towards Viale Cavour. Follow Viale Cavour as it curves to the left. Continue straight until you reach Piazza Gramsci. From Piazza Gramsci, take Via Roma and follow it until you reach Viale Vittorio Emanuele II. Turn left, and after a short walk, you will arrive at Piazza Indipendenza on your right.
