Getting There

• Walking

  Start by heading towards the Piazza del Campo, the main square in Siena. From the Piazza, take Via di Città and walk straight until you reach the intersection with Via Banchi di Sopra. Turn right onto Via Banchi di Sopra and continue walking until you reach the end of the street. Here, you will find yourself at the Porta Camollia. This is the main entrance to the city. Walk through the gate and continue straight on Via Fratelli Rosselli. Follow this road until you reach the bus station, where you will catch the bus to Volterra. Make sure to check the bus schedule ahead of time for departure times.

• Bus

  Once you arrive at the bus station, purchase your ticket to Volterra at the ticket counter. Look for the bus heading to Volterra, which is typically marked. The journey to Volterra will take approximately 1 hour. Once you arrive in Volterra, you will need to walk to your destination. Exit the bus station and head towards Piazza dei Priori, the main square in Volterra. From there, continue walking down Via di Porta all'Arco until you reach the intersection with Via della Pescheria. Turn left onto Via della Pescheria, and you will find Rossi Alabaster at Piazzetta della Pescheria.

• Taxi

  If you prefer a more direct route, consider taking a taxi from Siena to Volterra. You can find taxis near the train station or call one from your accommodation. The journey will take around 45 minutes to 1 hour, depending on traffic. Once you arrive in Volterra, instruct the driver to drop you off at Piazzetta della Pescheria. Rossi Alabaster will be within walking distance from where you are dropped off.
