Walking
From the center of Siena, head towards Piazza del Campo. Once you reach the piazza, take Via di Città towards Porta Romana. Continue on Via di Città until you reach the intersection with Via Banchi di Sopra. Turn left onto Via Banchi di Sopra and continue straight. As you walk, you will pass through beautiful streets and sights. After about 15-20 minutes, you will reach the bus terminal at Piazzale Rosselli. From there, take the bus to Volterra. The bus ride will take approximately 50 minutes. When you arrive in Volterra, disembark at the Volterra bus station. The Volterra City Museum and Art Gallery is a short 10-minute walk from the bus station. Head north on Via dei Sarti, and the museum will be on your left at Via dei Sarti, 1.

Take bus number 130 from the Siena bus terminal, which is located near Piazza del Campo. Check the bus schedule as it may vary throughout the day. The ride to Volterra takes about 50 minutes. Once you arrive at the Volterra bus station, exit the bus and head north on Via dei Sarti for about 10 minutes. The Volterra City Museum and Art Gallery will be on your left at Via dei Sarti, 1.
