Bus
From Siena's main bus station (Piazza Gramsci), take the bus to Greve in Chianti. The bus company is called 'SITA' and you can find the schedule posted at the bus station. The journey takes approximately 45 minutes. Once you arrive at the Greve in Chianti bus station, exit the bus and walk straight towards the main square (Piazza Matteotti). From the square, head northwest on Via Roma until you reach the intersection with Via Petriolo. Turn left onto Via Petriolo and continue walking for about 10 minutes. Vignamaggio will be on your right at number 5.
Taxi
If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi from Siena to Vignamaggio. Taxis can be found at designated taxi stands around the city, or you can call one via a local taxi service. The address is Via Petriolo, 5, Greve in Chianti. The taxi ride will take approximately 30 minutes depending on traffic.
Bicycle Rental
For the adventurous, consider renting a bicycle in Siena. Many rental shops are available around the city. From the city center, head southwest towards Via di Città, then continue on Strada della Cerchia. Follow the signs towards Greve in Chianti. The ride is about 15 km and takes approximately 1 hour, depending on your cycling speed. Once you arrive in Greve, follow the same directions from the bus station to reach Vignamaggio.
