Bus
From the city center of Siena, head to the main bus station, 'Piazza Gramsci'. Look for the bus lines heading towards Montalcino. The bus ride takes approximately 30-40 minutes. Get off at the stop named 'Montalcino'. From there, it is about a 25-minute walk. Exit the bus station and head north on Via Roma, then turn left onto Via Bellaria. Follow the signs towards Villa i Cipressi, which will be on your left.
Walking
If you prefer to walk from the center of Siena, begin at the famous Piazza del Campo. From there, take Via Banchi di Sopra and continue straight until you reach the outskirts of the city. Once you exit Siena, follow the signs towards Montalcino. It’s a scenic route, but be prepared for a longer journey of approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. After about 5 km, you will reach Via Bellaria. Villa i Cipressi will be on your right.
Bicycle
You can rent a bicycle in Siena and cycle towards Montalcino. Start from the city center and head towards the outskirts, following the signs to Montalcino. The distance is about 40 km and the ride takes around 2-3 hours, depending on your pace. Once you reach Montalcino, use Via Bellaria to find Villa i Cipressi, located on your left.
