Walking
If you are starting from Piazza del Campo, head east towards Via di Città. Continue straight along Via di Città until you reach the intersection with Via della Sapienza. Turn left onto Via della Sapienza, and follow it to the end where it meets Piazza del Duomo. The entrance to the Cripta del Duomo di Siena is located at the base of the cathedral on the left side of the piazza. Look for signs pointing towards the crypt.
Walking
From the Siena Railway Station, exit the station and walk towards Viale della Libertà. Continue straight until you reach Piazza Gramsci. From Piazza Gramsci, head towards Via Massetana Romana and then take the first right onto Via di Città. Follow Via di Città until you reach Piazza del Campo, then continue as described above to reach the Cripta del Duomo di Siena.
Walking
If you are in the Fortezza Medicea, exit the fortress and walk towards Via delle Campane. Continue straight until you reach Via di Città. Turn left onto Via di Città and proceed until you reach Piazza del Campo. From there, follow the directions to Piazza del Duomo as previously outlined to find the entrance to the crypt.
