Walking
From the central Piazza del Campo, head towards Via di Città, which is one of the main streets leading out of the square. Continue walking straight until you reach the intersection with Via del Capitano. Turn right onto Via del Capitano and follow it until you reach the end. You will see the majestic Duomo di Siena (Siena Cathedral) on your left. Facciatone is located right next to the cathedral in Piazza del Duomo. You can easily spot it as it is a prominent viewpoint overlooking the city.
Public Transport
If you are near the Siena train station, take the bus number 3 towards 'Piazza Gramsci'. Once you arrive at the stop 'Piazza Gramsci', disembark and walk towards the main street leading to Piazza del Campo. From there, follow the walking instructions starting from Piazza del Campo as outlined above.

If you are at the Basilica di San Domenico, exit the basilica and head down Via San Domenico towards the city center. Continue down this road which will lead you to Piazza del Campo. Once at Piazza del Campo, follow the previously mentioned route to reach Via di Città and then to the Duomo, where Facciatone is located.
