Walking
If you are starting at the Siena Cathedral (Duomo di Siena), exit the cathedral and head towards the main square, Piazza del Duomo. From there, take the street called Via dei Rossi to your left, which will eventually lead you to a junction. Turn right onto Via Banchi di Sopra. Continue walking straight until you reach Piazza del Campo, the main square of Siena. The Palazzo Pubblico is located at the northern edge of the square, easily recognizable by its tall tower, Torre del Mangia. It will take approximately 10-15 minutes on foot.
Walking
If you're coming from the Basilica di San Domenico, exit the basilica and head down the steps towards the main road, Via San Domenico. Turn right and walk down to the intersection with Via di Città. Turn left onto Via di Città, which will take you through a series of charming streets. Continue straight as the road merges into Via Banchi di Sopra. This road will lead you directly to Piazza del Campo, where Palazzo Pubblico is located at the northern edge of the square. This walk should take about 15-20 minutes.

If you are starting from the Siena Train Station (Stazione di Siena), exit the station and head towards the bus station adjacent to it. From the bus station, catch a bus heading towards the city center (Centro). Get off at the stop 'Piazza Gramsci'. Once you get off the bus, walk towards the direction of the large square, Piazza del Campo. As you approach the square, you will see Palazzo Pubblico at the northern edge of the square. The entire journey, including bus travel, will take approximately 30-40 minutes.
