Getting There

  • Walking

    From the center of Sorrento, head towards the main street, Corso Italia. Walk along Corso Italia towards the Sorrentine Peninsula. After approximately 10 minutes, you will reach the train station, Stazione di Sorrento. Take the Circumvesuviana train towards Naples; the journey will take about 1 hour. Once you arrive at Napoli Garibaldi station, follow the signs to the Metro Line 1. Take the Metro to Piazza Municipio station. From Piazza Municipio, exit onto Via Vittorio Emanuele and walk towards the waterfront. Continue walking along Via Partenope until you reach Viale Anton Dohrn, where Villa Comunale is located. The park entrance will be on your left.

  • Bus

    Start at the Sorrento bus station, located near the train station. Look for the SITA bus that goes to Naples. The bus ride will take approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Naples bus terminal, walk towards the nearest Metro Line 1 station, which is a short distance away. Take the Metro towards Piscinola and get off at Piazza Municipio. After exiting the station, head towards the waterfront along Via Vittorio Emanuele, then continue along Via Partenope until you reach Viale Anton Dohrn, where you will find Villa Comunale.

  • Ferry

    Head to the Sorrento harbor, which is a short walk from the center of Sorrento. Look for the ferry service to Naples. The ferry ride takes approximately 40 minutes. Once you arrive at the Naples harbor, exit and walk towards Via Partenope. Continue along this road until you reach Viale Anton Dohrn. Villa Comunale will be on your left side along this promenade.
