If you are starting from the main square, Piazza IX Aprile, head southeast towards Corso Umberto. Walk along Corso Umberto for about 5 minutes until you reach the intersection with Via Guardiola Vecchia. Turn left onto Via Guardiola Vecchia. Continue walking for about 10 minutes, and you will see Scalinata per Taormina on your right at Via Guardiola Vecchia, 44.

If you are near the Ancient Theatre of Taormina, exit the theatre and head towards Via Teatro Greco. Turn left onto Via Luigi Pirandello and continue until you reach Corso Umberto. Turn right onto Corso Umberto and walk straight for about 5 minutes until you reach the intersection with Via Guardiola Vecchia. Turn left onto Via Guardiola Vecchia, and Scalinata per Taormina will be on your right.

From the Taormina Cable Car station (Funivia Taormina-Mazzarò), walk towards Via Pirandello. Head uphill along the road for about 15 minutes until you reach Corso Umberto. Turn left onto Via Guardiola Vecchia, and you will find Scalinata per Taormina on your right.
