Start at the main square, Piazza IX Aprile, in Taormina. From the square, head down Via Teatro Greco, passing the ancient Greek Theatre on your left. Continue straight until you reach Piazza Sant'Antonino. At this square, turn left onto Via del Teatro Greco and follow the road until you reach the intersection with Via Nazionale. Turn right onto Via Nazionale and walk straight until you reach the large intersection with Via Giuseppe Mazzini. Cross the intersection and continue walking, following the signs towards the hilltop. You will eventually reach a path leading upwards towards Tempio di Cristo Re. Follow the path, which is well-marked, and enjoy the scenic views as you ascend. The temple will be directly ahead when you reach the top.

From Taormina, walk to the nearest bus stop at Via Nazionale, just a short distance from the main square. Take a local bus towards Messina, which runs frequently throughout the day. The journey should take about 30 minutes. Alight at the stop closest to 'Sacrario Cristo Re'. From the bus stop, walk uphill for approximately 10 minutes following the signs towards the temple. The path is well-marked and offers beautiful views of the surrounding area.
