Bus
From the Trieste city center, head to the main bus station at Piazza della Libertà. Take bus number 20 towards Piran. The journey takes approximately 1 hour. Once you arrive at the Piran bus station, exit and walk towards the sea. Follow the road leading to the waterfront, and continue walking straight until you reach Kidričevo nabrežje. The Akvarij Piran will be located on your left at number 4.

Train and Bus
Start by taking a train from Trieste Centrale to the nearest station, which is Portorož. The train journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Portorož, exit the train and head to the Portorož bus station. From there, take a local bus to Piran. After arriving in Piran, walk towards the coastline. Kidričevo nabrežje is a short walk from the bus stop, and the Akvarij Piran will be located at number 4.

If you are already in Piran, you can simply walk to Akvarij Piran. Head towards the main square called Tartini Square and then follow the signs towards the waterfront. Walk along the promenade until you reach Kidričevo nabrežje. The aquarium is located at number 4, just a few minutes' walk from the square.

Taxi
If you prefer a more direct option, you can take a taxi from Trieste to Piran. Taxis are available at various locations in Trieste, including the airport and train station. The journey to Piran will take about 1 hour. Once you arrive, ask the driver to take you to Kidričevo nabrežje 4, and you will be dropped off right in front of the Akvarij Piran.
