    From Trieste city center, walk to the main bus station located at Piazza della Libertà. Here, take bus number 38 towards Sežana. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Disembark at the stop 'Lipica', which is directly adjacent to the Lipica attraction.

    Head to the Trieste Centrale train station, which is located at Piazza della Libertà. Board a train towards Sežana. The train ride takes about 20 minutes. Once you arrive at Sežana station, exit and walk for about 10-15 minutes to reach Lipica. Take a left onto Via del Mare, then continue straight until you see signs for Lipica.

  • Bicycle

    You can rent a bicycle from one of Trieste's bike rental services. Cycle along the coastal road (Strada Costiera) heading towards the direction of Sežana. The ride is about 15 km and will take approximately 1 hour. Follow the signs for Lipica once you near Sežana.

  • Walking

    If you are feeling adventurous and up for a long walk, you can trek from Trieste to Lipica. The distance is around 15 km. Start from the city center and head towards the outskirts, taking Via di Fiume. Follow the signs towards Sežana and Lipica. This walk can take roughly 3-4 hours.
