Getting There

    From the city center of Trieste, head to the main bus station at Piazza della Libertà. Take bus number 36 towards 'Miramare'. The bus will take you directly to the stop 'Miramare' which is very close to the castle entrance. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Once you get off the bus, follow the signs to Miramare Castle, which is just a short walk down V.le Miramare.

    From the main train station 'Trieste Centrale', walk to the nearby tram stop 'Trieste - Stazione'. Board tram number 2 towards 'Valmaura'. Get off at the stop 'Miramare'. After disembarking, follow V.le Miramare for a short distance until you reach the castle entrance, which is well marked and visible from the tram stop.
