If you are starting from the city center (Piazza Unità d'Italia), walk to the nearest bus stop, which is 'Piazza Unità d'Italia'. From there, take bus number 36 towards 'Barcola'. The journey takes approximately 15-20 minutes. Get off at the 'Barcola' stop. Once you get off, walk towards the Lungomare Benedetto Croce. The entrance to the Pinewood of Barcola will be along the seaside promenade. Follow the path into the pinewood area.
