Best Venice Shore Excursion from Trieste Cruise Port
A good tour
Our boat came in at 7 and was leaving at 4 so that was against us right there. Tour operator had good communication and we got on the bus on time. Some people did not show up so that set us a little back. The driver was awesome. The van/mini bus was brand new and comfortable. The ride was about 2 hours there and the guide met us and we took a taxi over to Venice. Pretty cool ride. The guide gave us information about Venice and of course it was busy. Lots of people everywhere. We went to St. Marks square and she explained the history. We only had about an hour on our own, but went to the gondola ride first. Then a snack. Two things - Gondola ride is 90E for a half hour. Tried doing card it did not work. Just use cash so bring cash for that and all else can do tap cards. The value in this tour is the transportation. You get there and back with ferry’s included. Most tours were way more for the same thing. The tour guide is a bonus. Enjoy!
