Walking
If you are starting from the central square, Piazza Unità d'Italia, head southeast towards Via della Cattedrale. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Via del Teatro Romano. Turn left onto Via del Teatro Romano and walk uphill. You will come across the Roman Theatre of Trieste on your left. Continue up the hill, and you will reach the entrance of Castello di San Giusto, located at P.za della Cattedrale, 3.
Public Transport
From the main train station, Trieste Centrale, take bus number 20 or 21. Get off at the stop 'Cattedrale' (approximately a 10-minute ride). From the bus stop, walk a short distance to your left, and you will find the entrance to Castello di San Giusto at P.za della Cattedrale, 3.
Walking
If you are at the waterfront area, start from the Molo Audace pier. Walk towards the end of the pier and then head up Via Roma. Continue straight until you reach Piazza della Libertà. From there, go up Via del Lazzaretto and take a right onto Via della Cattedrale. Walk until you arrive at the castle entrance at P.za della Cattedrale, 3.
