From the main train station in Trieste (Stazione Ferroviaria di Trieste), walk to the bus stop located just outside the station. The bus ride to Motovun will take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. Enjoy the scenic views along the way. Once you arrive in Motovun, the bus station is centrally located, and you can easily walk to the town center.

Start at the Trieste train station and take a train to the nearby town of Buje. Be sure to check the train schedule in advance. Once you arrive in Buje, exit the train station and head to the bus stop nearby. Look for a local bus heading to Motovun. The bus ride will take around 15-20 minutes. After arriving in Motovun, you can explore the town on foot.
