An authentic Italian morning in Livorno
Pierino is an absolute gem of a human, best tour guide
Who wants to travel all the way to Florence or Pisa just to look at old buildings? Just skip it and spend some time in Livorno instead! We were so fortunate to spend a morning with Pierino. We were super late because of a delay getting the shuttle from our cruise ship but Pierino was so kind to wait for us! It was just my husband and I on the tour so it was a very relaxed experience. Pierino has lived in Livorno his whole life and knows the city inside and out. He has a pre planned route he takes you on which was nice but my favorite part was just asking him questions about Italian life. He speaks approx. 14 different languages, just kidding, only 4 or 5 ;) He probably speaks better English than I do. His intelligence is very obvious and it was an absolute pleasure spending time with him! Very highly recommend.
