Pistoia Food and Wine Tasting Tour in Tuscany

Bes t food and wine tour in Tuscany!

This was our favorite tour inTuscany!! Giovanni was so informative about the city of Pistoia and its history. He took us to the most amazing food market where we started off with bread and a locally made oil. We went to an Enteca (wine shop) where we tasted 3 excellent wines with pecorino cheese, then a locally made oil trattoria where Julia served us a traditional bread and tomato soup and a spritz. We then had the most amazing focaccia topped with fresh buratta and then pici pasta with pecorino and pepper sauce with another glass of wine. Of course we were full, but couldn’t say no to gelato to conclude our lovely evening. To have a tour guide who is also a sommelier and super knowledgeable about food and wine pairings, as well as so personable was such a treat. We HIGHLY recommend this tour and can’t wait to return!
