From Piazza del Campo, walk north along Via di Città towards Piazza del Duomo. The Piccolomini Library is located inside the Siena Cathedral on Piazza del Duomo. The walk is approximately 5 minutes and is mostly uphill.

From Siena Train Station, take bus lines 3, 8, 10, 17 or 77 to Piazza del Sale. From there, walk to Piazza del Duomo, where the Piccolomini Library is located inside the Cathedral. Alternatively, take a taxi from the train station to Piazza del Duomo. Bus tickets cost around €1.50. A taxi ride will cost approximately €10-15.
