Getting There

• Car

  If you're driving from another city in Tuscany, take the A1 Autostrada towards Florence. Once you near Florence, follow signs for 'Centro' which will lead you to the city center. Park your car in one of the designated parking areas such as Parcheggio Santa Maria Novella or Parcheggio Fortezza. From the parking, walk towards Piazza del Duomo, where you'll find the Campanile di Giotto located right next to the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore.

• Train

  Travel by train to Florence from any major city in Tuscany. The main train station in Florence is Santa Maria Novella. Once you arrive at the train station, exit and walk towards the main street, Via Luigi Alamanni. Continue straight until you reach Piazza della Repubblica, then turn left onto Via del Corso. Follow the road until you reach Piazza del Duomo, where the Campanile di Giotto is located adjacent to the Cathedral.

• Bus

  If you're using a bus service, check the local operators for routes to Florence. Most buses will arrive at the bus station near Santa Maria Novella train station. From there, follow the same directions as if you were arriving by train: exit the station, walk towards Via Luigi Alamanni, continue to Piazza della Repubblica, then turn left onto Via del Corso and walk to Piazza del Duomo to find the Campanile di Giotto.

• Walking

  If you're already in the historic center of Florence, simply walk to Piazza del Duomo. The Campanile di Giotto is an iconic landmark in the piazza, so you won't miss it. Depending on where you are, you can ask locals for directions as it is a popular tourist destination.
