Pasta and Tiramisu class with Mamma in Spoleto
Highlight of our trip
We booked a private cooking class in at an Umbrian farmhouse and it became the best part of the trip. Our hostess Claudia, and her husband Francesco, welcomed us into her real kitchen and patiently walked us through handmade local pasta with sauce, lentils, tiramisu, and bruschetta with two different toppings. We are both experienced cooks but learned details we wouldn't get from cookbooks or cooking shows. Lunch was everything we had cooked, plus local wine and real conversation on a variety of topics despite the slight language barrier. We left with handwritten recipes and memories of a lovely time in a real Italian home.

Enchanting Hilltop Villages in Umbria Private Tour from Rome
Enjoyable trips to Rome's famous attractions.
We booked day trips to Orvieto and Civita di Bagnoregio; and Frascati and Castelli. Our driver for both days was Costinel. He came earlier then the scheduled time and dressed professionally. Constinel answered our questions patiently and enquired our expectations before we took off. As a group of seniors, we were all impressed by his attention to details and we were well taken care of. I would like to have him as our driver when we visit Rome again. Good job, Costinel.
