    If you are driving from any location in Val di Fassa, head towards Welschnofen (Nova Levante). Use the SS241 road and follow the signs towards Welschnofen. Once you reach Welschnofen, continue on the SP72 towards Passo Nigra. After approximately 10 kilometers, you will arrive at Località Passo Nigra. There is parking available near the lake, but be aware that it may incur a fee depending on the season.

    For those using public transport, start at any bus stop in Val di Fassa and take a bus towards Welschnofen (Nova Levante). The bus line 180 usually connects the major towns in Val di Fassa with Welschnofen. Once you arrive at Welschnofen, you will need to transfer to line 184, which takes you to Passo Nigra. The bus stop for Lago artificiale is near the entrance to the area. Be sure to check the bus schedules in advance as they can vary, especially on weekends.

    Walking from Passo Nigra

    If you arrive at Passo Nigra by car or bus, the Lago artificiale is a short walk from the main road. Follow the signs directing you to the lake, which will lead you through a scenic path. It takes about 15-20 minutes to walk to the lake from the main parking area.
