Car
If you are traveling by car, head to the town of Canazei in Val di Fassa. From Canazei, take the Strada Statale 48 (SS48) heading towards Selva di Val Gardena. Continue on the SS48 until you reach the junction for Passo Gardena. Follow the signs for Passo Gardena, which will lead you to the viewpoint. The drive takes approximately 30 minutes. There is no parking fee at the viewpoint, but be mindful of parking regulations.
Public Transportation
To reach the Mountains view point using public transportation, start from Canazei and take a bus towards Selva di Val Gardena. The bus line is operated by Trentino Trasporti and runs several times a day. Make sure to check the latest schedule as it may vary by season. Disembark at the Passo Gardena stop. The viewpoint is a short walk from the bus stop. The bus ticket costs around €5 each way.
Bicycle
For those adventurous enough to cycle, renting a bicycle in Canazei is a great option. Follow the same route as by car, biking along the SS48 towards Passo Gardena. The ride is approximately 12 km and can be steep in parts, so ensure you are prepared for a challenging ride. There are designated bike lanes in some areas. Please note that it may take 1.5 to 2 hours depending on your fitness level.
Hiking
If you enjoy hiking, you can start from the village of Colfosco. There are marked trails leading to Passo Gardena. The hike is moderate and takes around 1.5 to 2 hours. Be sure to wear appropriate footwear and carry water, as there are no facilities along the route. The trail offers stunning views of the surrounding Dolomites.
