To reach Passo Ombretta by car, start from the center of San Giovanni di Fassa. Drive east on Strada de Meida, then take a left onto Strada de Pera. Continue until you reach the junction with SS48, then turn right onto SS48. Follow SS48 for approximately 8 km until you see signs for Passo Ombretta. The road will lead you up to the mountain pass. Parking is available, but it's recommended to arrive early during peak tourist seasons to secure a spot.
Public Transportation
If you prefer public transportation, take a local bus from San Giovanni di Fassa. The bus service will take you to the nearest stop on the SS48 road. Look for the bus line heading towards Passo Ombretta. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you alight, it’s a short walk (about 1.5 km) to the Passo Ombretta.
