Car
If you're traveling by car, start from the main town of Cles in Val di Non. Head southeast on Via Roma toward Via Garibaldi, then turn left onto SP11. Continue on SP11 for about 12 km until you reach Tuenno. From Tuenno, follow the signs for Lake Tovel (Lago di Tovel) along SP14. The lake is located approximately 8 km from Tuenno. There is parking available near the lake, but note that there may be a small fee for parking during peak tourist season.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, take a bus from Cles to Tuenno. Bus line 201 operates regularly from Cles to Tuenno, and the journey takes about 30 minutes. Once in Tuenno, you will need to walk approximately 8 km to reach Lake Tovel. Follow the signs for Lago di Tovel along the scenic route, or you can also consider taking a taxi from Tuenno to the lake if you prefer a shorter walk.
Taxi
If you're looking for a more comfortable option, consider taking a taxi from any location in Val di Non directly to Lake Tovel. Taxis can be booked via local taxi services or through apps available in the area. The fare will depend on your starting point, but expect to pay around €15-€30 for a ride from nearby towns like Cles or Tuenno.
