Car
From the center of Sestriere, head southeast on Via Cesana toward Via Pinerolo. Continue on SS23 for about 3 km. You will see signs for Rognosa del Sestriere (indicated by hiking signs). Park at the designated parking area near the base of the hiking trail (there may be a small parking fee). From the parking area, follow the marked hiking path up the mountain. The hike to Rognosa del Sestriere is approximately 2-3 hours depending on your pace.
Public Transportation
Take a bus from Turin to Sestriere. The bus departs from the Turin bus station (Stazione di Torino) and takes approximately 2 hours. Upon arrival in Sestriere, you can either walk to the base of the Rognosa del Sestriere trailhead (about 20 minutes) or take a taxi if you have heavy equipment. From the trailhead, follow the marked hiking path to reach the summit, which takes about 2-3 hours.
Hiking
