Car
If you're driving from Selva di Val Gardena, head east on Strada Nives (SS242) for about 1.5 kilometers. Look for signs for Vallunga, and turn right onto the Vallunga road (Strada Vallunga). Continue straight for about 2 kilometers until you reach the parking area at the end of the road, which is located near the entrance to the hiking trail that leads to Cascate Vallunga.
Public Transportation
To reach Cascate Vallunga via public transportation, take the local bus (Bus Line 30) from Selva di Val Gardena towards Passo Sella. The journey takes approximately 15 minutes. Get off at the stop 'Vallunga' and follow the signs indicating the walking path to the waterfalls. The trail is approximately a 30-minute walk from the bus stop to the Cascate Vallunga.
Walking
If you are already in Selva di Val Gardena and prefer walking, you can hike to Cascate Vallunga directly. Start from the town center and head east along Strada Nives (SS242), then turn onto Strada Vallunga. The hike is about 3 kilometers one way and takes about 1 hour. The path is well marked, and you will enjoy beautiful scenery along the way.
