Car
If you're driving from Ortisei in Val Gardena, head northwest on Strada Rezia towards Strada Piz. Continue on Strada Rezia for about 2 kilometers. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto Strada Piz. After about 1 kilometer, you will see a sign for Ausserraschötzer Kreuz on your right. Follow the Unnamed Road for approximately 500 meters until you reach the scenic spot. Parking may be limited, so be prepared to walk a little if necessary.
Public Transportation
To reach Ausserraschötzer Kreuz via public transportation, take a bus from Ortisei. Look for bus line 350, which connects Ortisei to Selva di Val Gardena. Get off at the stop 'Piz Sella'. From there, follow the signs towards Ausserraschötzer Kreuz, which is about a 30-minute hike up the Unnamed Road. Be sure to check the bus schedule in advance, as services may vary depending on the time of year.
Hiking
For an adventurous option, you can hike to Ausserraschötzer Kreuz. Starting from Ortisei, head towards the base of the mountain. Follow the hiking trails marked on local maps; the most accessible route is the trail leading from the town center. Expect the hike to take around 1.5 to 2 hours. Make sure to wear appropriate hiking shoes and bring water for the journey. The views along the way will be rewarding!
