Getting There

  • Car

    From any location in Val Venosta, head towards the SS38 road. If you're starting from the town of Silandro, take the SS38 towards Bolzano. Continue for approximately 30 kilometers until you reach the junction with the A22 motorway. Merge onto the A22 towards Bolzano. After about 18 kilometers, take the exit for 'Bolzano Nord' and follow the signs for SS241 towards Carezza. Continue on SS241 for approximately 20 kilometers, and you will see the signs for Lago di Carezza. There is a parking area available near the lake, but be aware that there may be a parking fee of around €5 for the day.

    If you prefer public transportation, start by taking a regional train from Val Venosta to Bolzano. Trains run frequently, and the journey takes about 30 minutes.
