Car
If you are traveling by car, start from any location in Val Venosta. Navigate to the SS38 road and head towards Martell. Continue on SS38 for approximately 15 km until you reach the village of Martell. Once in Martell, look for signs directing you to 'Plima-Schlucht' or 'Gola del Rio Plima'. Park your car in the designated parking area near the entrance to the hiking trail. There may be a small parking fee, so be prepared with some change.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, take a train to the nearest station, which is in Laces (Laces is well-connected to the main train routes). From Laces, transfer to a local bus service that heads towards Martell. The bus ride will take about 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive in Martell, look for the local signposts directing you to Plima-Schlucht. The trailhead is a short walk from the bus stop. Make sure to check the bus schedules in advance, as they may vary, especially on weekends.
