If you are driving from central Valdarno, head towards the A1 motorway and take the exit towards Firenze Sud. Continue on the A1 for about 30 km, then take the exit towards Florence Centro. After exiting, follow signs for Viale Michelangelo. Once you reach Viale Michelangelo, keep following it until you arrive at the parking area near Forte di Belvedere. From the parking area, it's a short walk to the entrance of the fortress.

To reach Forte di Belvedere via public transportation, start by taking a regional train from Valdarno to Florence Santa Maria Novella station. Once you arrive at the station, exit and catch tram line T1 towards Villa Costanza. Get off at the stop 'Porta al Prato'. From there, you can either walk or take bus line 13 towards 'Forte di Belvedere'. The bus will take you directly to the fortress entrance.
