Car
If you are traveling by car, start from the center of Valdarno. Head towards the SS69 road and continue on this road for about 15 kilometers. Once you reach the intersection with SP14, take a left turn onto SP14 and follow the signs for Pergine Valdarno. After about 7 kilometers, turn right onto Via Montozzi. The Castello di Montozzi will be on your left at Via Montozzi, 52019 Pergine Valdarno AR. Make sure to check for parking availability near the castle.
Public Transportation
For those preferring public transportation, start by taking a bus from Valdarno to Pergine Valdarno. Buses are available from the main bus station in Valdarno. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Once in Pergine Valdarno, exit the bus at the main stop and walk towards Via Montozzi. It is about a 20-minute walk (approximately 1.5 kilometers) from the bus stop. Head east on Via Roma, then turn left onto SP14 and follow it until you reach Via Montozzi. Keep an eye out for signs directing you to the castle.
